The tennis players held a tennis and squash tournament on the last day of week 1. Everyone performed really well, and the results were:

Congratulations to our football academy who won their match against Meolebrace Under 14’s (see the Coach's match report below). In addition to this victory, the following awards were also given out:

Adventure Sports
All the adventure sports students were awarded with a certificate to mark the end of week 1. As part of the adventure sports academy, students spent three days off site at the Edge adventure centre (http://www.ridetheedge.co.uk/) doing activities such as mountain boarding (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountainboarding), quad biking, and archery. While on campus the students were taken for basketball, volleyball, hockey and swimming.

The dance academy wowed the audience between award presentations, demonstrating the skills that they had developed over this last week.

Horse Riding
After spending the week at Berriewood Farm (http://www.berriewood.co.uk/), all of the horse riding academy passed their British Horse Society Progressive Riding Test One. Congratulations to them all.
