Birmingham & London

On Sunday our students went to either Birmingham or London.
A small group decided take a challenge and go to London. With their duvets and pillows on the coach, off they went.
The London Eye, which is on the South Bank of the River Thames, is one of London's top attractions. As you can see you don’t have to ride it to have fun in London. Marcus obviously came up with some sort of street dance:) We wonder if they’re going to perform on stage on Tuesday night (?)

Anyway, having relaxed after a strenuous performance, they suddenly got lost in the vicinity of Big Ben and panicked because they were late for Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Fortunately, a kind police officer showed them the way and he even agreed to join in the photo. He even suggested that they see Westminster Abbey, so they had a stroll past it and Marcus convinced them to take another creative/crazy photo :)

Here you can see the students in the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley, just out of central Birmingham. Dudley and the surrounding areas are known as the ‘black country’ because during the industrial revolution it became one of the most industrialised parts of Britain with coal mines, coking, iron foundries and steel mills.
Another stop was Bull Ring Shopping Centre.
